Java is Everywhere
Java Development
Java is a programming language as well as a computing platform officially released by Sun Microsystems in 1995. In 1991, a group of Sun engineers called the “Green Team" led by James Gosling believes the next phase in computing was to combine consumer devices and computers. This team created the programming language that has changed our world.
Java is free and runs on all platforms that are available in the world. Every day, new applications are being developed and there are lots of solutions and enterprise applications that will not work appropriately if Java is not installed.
Java is the best programming language that has existed and this has been proven that every day for the past 21 years Java is used everywhere and anytime. This is Java greatest's strength and there’s a huge amount of momentum behind it. The fact is, Java is here to stay despite all setbacks and we all know that somewhere or on some servers around the world, Java is running.

Java is an Object Oriented Programming language. Developing OOPS application is much easier when using Java and it also helps to keep system modular, flexible and extensible. Java is being used to develop desktop applications that runs on desktops and laptop, enterprise applications in datacenters, functions and processes on scientific supercomputers, mobile applications as well as solutions for the internet and mobile devices. Also, Java is a staple of enterprise computing. It is obvious because you will need performance, predictability at certain point. Java also excels in areas like scaling, developing and deploying to the cloud.
Java also has a broad language support and you do not have to write Java to use Java. There are portable JVM runtime but scribble away in the familiar environs (like Ruby, Python) and newer languages aimed at modern programming such as Scala, Groovy. In addition, we all know Google’s Android mobile platform is the No. 1 mobile platform in the world. Developers predominantly use their Java skills when developing applications for Android that will run on smart watches, TV, refrigerators, etc.
Even after the acquisition of Sun Microsystem by Oracle, Oracle continues to add new features, such as the inclusion of lambda capabilities in Java 8 and this year, Java 9 will be released with additional functionalities and features. Oracle is doing everything to ensure this platform is the #1 programming languages in the world.
Remember, Java skills find value everywhere it goes.
